Germany could not match the might of the British Navy above the waves, so they fought it from below. Their wolf packs devastated the shipping routes, sending millions of tons of shipping to the bottom. The IXC/40 had extended range and slightly increased surfaced speed, giving the wolfpacks the upper hand in 1940 and 41. Despite these advantages, by 1943 submarines were facing steep losses. Kit features moveable snorkel, detailed riveted hull, imitation vents and ports, moveable props and dive planes, decals for two versions.
