Description
Based on the Plymouth Barracuda, the AAR cuda was developed by Plymouth in conjunction with Dan Gurney famous ‘all American racers’ team as a homologation model for the trans am racing Series, and took part in the so called pony car Wars of the early 1970S. It differed visually from the production model by the so called strobe stripe side stripes And the AAR cuda logo. Its 340cc V8 engine with three 2-barrel carbs produced a whopping 290 bhp which could propel the cuda from 0-60mph in only 5.8 seconds! Revell’s detailed model features accurate body styling, full engine, chassis, suspension, rubber tyres and twin-exhausts. The full interior with all displays and placards is wrapped in a one-piece body shell with removable bonnet. Wheels are secured to the suspension arms via metal pins for strength, decal options: logos, stencils, placards, ‘strobe strip’ Side stripes And a choice of number plates
note: this is a plastic model kit that needs to be assembled and painted to complete. Glue and paint are not included and must be Obtained separately. This is a skill level 4 kit, rated for advanced model builders.
